1. About these terms
These terms govern access to and use of Call Register by a business, organisation or sole trader (the Customer) and its authorised users. The intended service provider is Call Register Ltd. By creating an account or accepting an invitation, users agree to use the service in accordance with these terms on behalf of themselves and, where authorised, the Customer.
2. What Call Register provides
Call Register is a web-based shared communications register. It lets teams record and assign communications, maintain To-Do items, set follow-ups and view account activity. Features depend on the current plan and may develop over time.
Call Register is an organisational aid. It is not an emergency service, professional advice, a guaranteed backup archive or a substitute for the Customer’s legal, regulatory, employment or record-keeping duties.
3. Accounts and administrators
- The person creating a company account becomes its initial administrator.
- Administrators control team membership and must only invite authorised people.
- Users must provide accurate details, protect their login and promptly report suspected misuse.
- One person should use their own login where accountability matters. The Customer is responsible for activity carried out through its accounts.
- Users must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act for the Customer.
4. Trial, Free and paid plans
New eligible company accounts currently receive a 14-day full-feature trial for up to two users without providing card details. Unless upgraded, the account moves to the Free plan when the trial ends. Features such as follow-up dates and alerts, To-Do functionality and Quick Call/Email may then be restricted, while stored records remain subject to these terms and the retention arrangements.
Paid plan prices, user limits, billing period and included features will be shown before purchase. When live payments begin, subscriptions will renew for the stated billing period unless cancelled in accordance with the checkout and account instructions. Failed or overdue payment may lead to paid features being suspended or the account reverting to Free.
5. Cancellation and plan changes
Customers may cancel renewal or change plan using the method shown in the account or by contacting support. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period unless stated otherwise. Fees already due are not refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed.
Call Register is principally offered for business use. Nothing in these terms removes statutory rights that apply to a consumer. Any legally applicable cancellation information will be presented before a paid order is completed and confirmed in a durable form.
6. Customer information
The Customer retains responsibility for the information its users enter and determines why it is recorded. The Customer confirms that it has a lawful reason to enter, use and share that information, and that entries will be relevant, accurate and appropriate.
Call Register may process Customer information to provide, secure, support and maintain the service. Further details are in the Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable use
Users must not:
- use Call Register unlawfully, fraudulently, abusively or to infringe another person’s rights;
- enter excessive, irrelevant, defamatory or specially sensitive information unless the Customer has properly assessed and authorised it;
- attempt to access another company’s account, bypass security or interfere with the service;
- introduce malware, automate excessive requests, scrape the service or reverse engineer it except where law expressly permits;
- share login details in a way that undermines security or accountability;
- upload branding or advertising material they do not have permission to use.
8. Partner branding
A branding partner may provide a branded route, logo, promotional material or invitation link. The underlying Call Register account and Customer information remain separate from the partner. A partner does not gain access to calls, To-Dos or operational account content merely through branding. Branding may be changed, suspended or removed without deleting the Customer’s underlying account.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, third-party platform issues, internet failures and circumstances outside reasonable control may affect access. We may make reasonable changes for security, legal compliance, performance or product improvement. Material reductions to a paid service should be communicated appropriately.
10. Intellectual property
Call Register, its software, design, branding and documentation belong to the service provider or its licensors. Customers receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during their account term. Customers retain rights in their own content and grant the permission needed to host, process, display and transmit it solely to provide the service.
11. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, non-payment, serious misuse, legal compliance or material breach. Where practical, we will explain the reason and allow a reasonable opportunity to remedy it. Ending a branding partnership need not end the Customer’s Call Register account.
12. Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Subject to that, Call Register is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss caused by inaccurate Customer entries, missed follow-ups where users fail to check the service, or failures outside our reasonable control. The final paid-service liability cap and insurance-aligned wording must be reviewed professionally before commercial launch.
Action before launch: have these terms reviewed for the final company, pricing, subscription process, insurance cover and intended business/consumer customer mix.
13. General
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue. Delay in enforcing a right does not waive it. The Customer may not transfer its agreement without consent. We may transfer the agreement as part of a genuine business reorganisation or sale, provided Customer rights are not materially reduced.
14. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and its courts have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply elsewhere. Contact: support@callregister.uk (to be confirmed active before launch).
